Description
Aubrey Wilhelm of Comanche, Texas, won the middleweight championship of the Golden Gloves in the Stephenville district. The win qualified him for the state tournament held in Fort Worth, Texas. Wilhelm, a student at Daniel Baker College, also competed for the Golden Gloves in 1939. He is standing against a wall wearing boxing trunks and tape around his hands.
