Description
Texas A & M University versus Fordham University at the Cotton Bowl. John Kimbrough, with the ball and making a touchdown for the Aggies. John Kimbrough's speed fooled the Fordham defense when the Aggies needed a yard for their second touchdowns in the Cotton Bowl game. Kimbrough took the ball, faked as if to crack center of the line, and then took off to his left. He outran James Noble and James Blumenstock and crossed the goal line standing up. A penalty had put the ball on the one yard line after Moser returned a punt to the 25. An action shot of players and referees on the field. The end zone area has a few photographers taking pictures of the players. The spectators are in the stands in the background. Star-Telegram Morning January 2, 1941
