Texas A & M University versus Fordham University at the Cotton Bowl. Marion Pugh, Texas A & M University, kicking the field goal. Thomason was holding. This one play gave the Texas Aggies their victory over Fordham in the Cotton Bowl. It's the place kick by Marion Pugh of Fort Worth which put the score at 13-6 in the third quarter. Fordham countered in the fourth period, but failed to covert. An action shot of the players on the field. In the background are the spectators in the stands. Star-Telegram Morning January 2, 1941
