Description

The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity in holding their 85th annual convention at the Hotel Texas in Fort Worth, Texas. In attendance, left to right, are Harry S. Bunting, Thomas S. Mell, and J. Washington Moore. Mr. Bunting, of Chicago, Illinois, is a veteran member of the fraternity. He was initiated in 1886 at Southwestern College at Clarksville, Tennessee. He is dressed in a three-piece tweed suit. Mr. Mell, of Athens, Georgia, was initiated into the order in 1876 at the University of Georgia. He became the first archon and served as the mayor of Athens from 1936 to 1937. He is wearing a double breasted suit. Mr. Moore is an attorney in Nashville, Tennessee. He joined the fraternity in 1886 at Vanderbilt University. He served as archon from 1891 to 1894. He is dressed in a three-piece suit.
