Description

Preceding the annual Christmas program of the Fort Worth Recreation Department at Municipal Auditorium, Miss Marie Welsh, departmental art instructor, made a final inspection of the work of adult classes in drawing and painting, exhibited in the foyer. Miss Welsh is wearing a short-sleeved vertically-striped blouse tucked into a dark-colored pinstripe skirt that comes to below her knees and has a central pleat from the hem for about eight inches. She is wearing stockings and lace-up oxford style women's shoes with a low heel. Her hair is held back with bobby pins. The art pieces on the wall include portraits and still life.
