Description
Mrs. C. B. Spence, wife of the president of the Advertising Club, receiving a sleigh filled with fruit from George Cranston, at Hotel Texas. It was the first gift presented by George Cranston, who acted as Santa Claus, at the annual Christmas frolic of the Club. Presents were contributed by members of the club and by merchants. Mrs. Spence is wearing a dress and she is wearing a bracelet on her left wrist. Mr Cranston is wearing a suit and eyeglasses. There is a Christmas tree and gifts in the background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 19, 1940.
