Description
Santa, Get an Earful of This, Will You? This quartet of little heartbreakers confides its dreams and hopes to representatives of various Fort Worth organizations taken on a tour recently of some of the homes to be visited by the Star-Telegram Goodfellows. J. Clude Jones of the Exchange Club, left, takes a personal message to Santa Claus from the 2-year-old boy. Mrs. J. Frank Basss, left, standing, first vice president of the Fort Worth Council of Parents and Teachers, and Miss Ahdel Reich, president of the Junior Woman's Club, are interested in the 6-year-old girl who is mothering the 15-month-old baby. James M. Floyd, right, retiring president of the Round Table Club, has found a 4-year-old redheaded sweeheart. Your contributions to the Goodfelllows Fund will help pay for the shoes, stockings, toys, candy and fruit these poor youngsters hope to get for Christmas. Pictured are four young children in front of a shack. The children are dirty and wearing ragged clothing. Standing around them are two well dressed women, and two well dressed men. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition December 20, 1940.
