    Description

    The Texas State Highway Patrol has a new radio truck. The 11,000 pound vehicle was designed by Sergeant R. G. Wilkins, left, the communications chief. On the right is J. E. Palmer. Sergeant Wilkins is in Fort Worth, Texas, to help Tarrant County install the accompanying equipment. He is dressed in a button-up shirt, necktie, and a jacket. Mr. Palmer is the head of the municipal radio service. He designed and built this transmitter. He is wearing a suit with a sweater.
