Description
Mrs. Jack Phillips, a native West Texan, is returning from Europe to spend Christmas with her sister, Mrs. Henry Wilson. Mrs. Phillips worked with the Red Cross in France and Portugal. During the First World War she married a Royal Air Force flier who was training in Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Phillips has spent the last four years living in Paris, France, with her husband. When war broke out in Europe, she enlisted with the American Legion medical units. When the legion was disbanded, she volunteered for Red Cross work. Mrs. Phillips is standing in front of a wall, dressed in a hat, polka-dot blouse, skirt, and a coat.
