Description
Mary, as portrayed by Frances Ann Perkins, and Joseph, who is Truett Rutledge, in a manger scene that will be part of the story of the Nativity at the First Christian Church by the primary department. One hundred children will participate in the program, which will include a vested choir and a play. Proceeds will be added to the department's Christmas offering. The children are wearing costumes. Frances is kneeling beside a manger filled with hay and looking at a baby laying in the manger while Truett stands beside her. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 13, 1940.
