After winning his first bid to the Texas Legislature, Gene Worley is awaiting the day he is sworn in as a congressman. Mr. Worley grew up in Shamrock, Texas, in the Panhandle and is a big fan of football. His mother, Mrs. Fred Oliver, directed his campaign. Mr. Worley is standing against a wall with his hands behind his back. He is dressed in a three-piece suit with a pin on the lapel.
