Description

West Central Texas Oil and Gas Association convention met in Abilene. Looking over the program of the association's meeting are (left to right) George Callihan, Abilene, Texas, retiring treasurer of the association; C. W. Hoffmann, Eastland, Texas, former president and re-elected vice president, and Joe A. Clarke, Albany, Texas, retiring president. The men are all wearing suits and ties and are standing in front of a window in a room. Mr. Clarke is making notes on the program while the other two men look on. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 9, 1940.
