Description
View, Texas in Taylor County, about six miles south of Abilene, will be in the center of the site for Abilene's army training camp. The Forty-fifth Division will train here. Shown is the post office at View. The two-story brick building has two gas pumps out front and the year "1925" on the top. There are a few cars parked around the building and there is another, smaller building past the post office. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 7, 1940.
