At the Interstate Commerce commission (ICC) hearing involving the Colorado and Southern, and Fort Worth and Denver City Railways at the Hotel Texas are interested spectators. At the hearing were Mrs. Mildred Avriett, Fort Worth and State Representative R. Q. Mills, Wichita Falls, pictured here. Mrs. Avriett is the wife of T. F. Avriett, a re-check clerk in the auditor's office of the railroad here. Mills is representative for Wichita and Wilbarger Counties, also is a general chairman of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen for the two Texas lines. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 3, 1940.
