Friends of many years, Navy Lieutenant W. L. Cleveland, left, and Paul Whiteman, the band maestro, had a chance meeting in Fort Worth last week when Lieutenant Cleveland accompanied the 14-ton bomber seaplane enroute from Consolidated Aircraft Corporation plant in California to the east coast where the plane is to be delivered to the Royal Air Force for use in the European war.
