Description
John Straiton, Scottish-born retired Fort Worth business man, has accepted a call to serve as minister of the Church of Christ in Burleson, Texas. Straiton, who has preached in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and France and in many points in the United States during the last 50 years, came to America in 1906. Until four years ago he was district sales manages for a Minnesota food manufacturing company. The congregation which he will served was organized slightly more than a year ago and has just constructed a one-story frame building for worship services. Mr. Straiton is shown here wearing a suit and tie and standing against a wall. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 30, 1940.
