Texas A & M University versus University of Texas football game. Texas Longhorn, Pete Layden, fumbles a pass as Texas A & M player Bill Buchanan swept in to grab the ball. John Kimbrough, A & M No.39 is watching the action. The Longhorns were rolling toward another score when this play bobbed up to spoil the opportunity. It was first down on the Aggie eight when Layden fumbled a bad pass from center. Bill Buchanan, A & M's right end, swept in and grabbed the ball on the bounce. This happened in the second quarter. From here the Aggies launched their best attack. A distance shot of the players in action on the field. The stands are full of spectators. Star-Telegram Evening November 29, 1940
