Description
Texas A & M University versus University of Texas football game. Here's a typical scene from the University of Texas 7-0 upset over the Texas Aggies at Austin Thursday. It's Jack Crain's interception of Marland Jeffrey's pass and a 16 yard runback. Early in the second quarter, the Aggies had the ball on their 42 yard line, it was third down and four yards to go. Jeffrey passed, Crain intercepted and ran back to the Aggie 34. Things like this happened all of the sad afternoon to the panicky Aggies, as they lost their first game in 20 starts. A distance shot of the players on the field and the spectators watching the game in the stands. Star-Telegram Morning November 30, 1940
