Description
Conducting an interview for Santa Claus, W.O. Coles of the Lions Club, left, and E.D. Rutledge of the Kiwanis are shown as they found out what this 8-year-old girl wanted for Christmas on a recent visit club leaders made to some of the homes assisted by the Star-Telegram Goodfellows. At this one there were four children, all under 11, huddled together in a home while their parents sought work. Goodfellow contributions to pay for stockings and sweaters and candy bought for youngsters like this may be made through The Star-Telegram cashier to get the fund out of the red by Christmas. Goodfellows W. O. Coles of the Lions Club, and E. D. Rutledge of the Kiwanis Club are shown with an 8 year old girl. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition December 19, 1940.
