    Texas State Teachers' Association convention. C. W. Murphree, veteran North Side High School, school commercial department teacher, stole a five-minute march on all the other delegates here for the teachers' convention. Arriving at First Baptist Church, he was first to register. Assisting him is Miss Isabelle Johnson. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, November 21, 1940.
