Description

The Fort Worth-Tarrant County Tuberculosis Society made their first sale of the 1940 Tuberculosis Christmas Seal. Standing left to right are C. A. Arthur and Clifton Rawe. Mr. Arthur, the general chairman of the Seal Sale, made the first sale. He is wearing a double breasted suit. Mr. Rawe, secretary of Panther City Philatelic Society, is the buyer. His collection of tuberculosis Christmas seals is displayed in a frame at the right. Mr. Rawe owns seals from every year's issue since 1907 when the first seal was issued. He is wearing a double breasted suit.
