Palo Pinto's Historic Landmark Soon to Be Replaced -- Palo Pinto County, Texas Commissioners Court is shown in the historic 1882 Palo Pinto, Texas courthouse. Left to right are Commissioners O. C. Howard (seated) of Graford, Jack Vaughan (seated) of Mineral Wells, M. O. Shook (seated) of Gordon, and W. E. Brannon (standing) of Santo, and on the bench is County Judge J. Pat Corrigan of Palo Pinto. They are all wearing suits and Mr. Howard, Mr. Brannon and Mr. Corrigan are wearing eyeglasses. On the table where the commissioners are seated are two hats, a rubber stamp and various documents. In the background are high-backed jury chairs. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 21, 1940.
