Description

Image shows home of Mrs. J. H. Sprinkle. She was sleeping at her Willing Avenue home when a fire broke out at 4:30 a.m. Monday. She was critically burned before escaping the blazing home. Pictured are the charred walls of her bedroom. All furniture in the rock home was destroyed. The brick chimney flue between the kitchen and the bedroom was left standing, but the roof collapsed. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition November 18, 1940.
