Description
Cavalry officers Lieutenant R. W. McIlvain holds "Reigh Mac," his mount. Reigh Mac won the hunter class at the Fort Leavenworth Horse Show last year and was trained by Captain R. W. Curtis, a member of the last Olympic Equestrian team. The Fort Worth officers of the Fifty-sixth Cavalry Brigade, Texas National Guard, and their fine animals will become a United States Army unit. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 17, 1940.
