    Description

    Mayor T. J. Harrell (left) is presenting American Legion medals to Rembert Brown Junior and Elinor Smith. They are students at Meadowbrook Junior High School. The awards are given for courage, honor, service, leadership, and scholarship. John Robertson, (back left), and Henry Love, right, look on. Mayor Harrell is dressed in a double breasted, pinstripe suit. Rembert is wearing a double breasted suit. Elinor is wearing a plaid dress. Mr. John Robertson is the school principal. He is wearing a pinstripe suit. Mr. Love is commander of Bothwell Kane Post of the legion. He is wearing a double breasted suit.
