Description
The last time the Spiller brothers posed for a picture together was in 1917 when they were captains in the United States Army. They are, left to right, Hampden Spiller and Oliver L. Spiller. The brothers are natives of Jacksboro, Texas. Hampden left the Army at the end of the war and began practicing law in Fort Worth, Texas. Oliver remained in the Army and is now a Brigadier General. He is the commander of the new anti-aircraft training center at Fort Bliss. The brothers are shown in Hampden's house, during Oliver's first trip to Texas in ten years. Hampden is dressed in a three-piece suit. Oliver is wearing a plaid three-piece suit.
