Central Texas Methodist Conference attendees include (left to right) Reverend Hayden Edwards, Clifton, Texas, Reverend G. P. Comer, Waco, Texas and A. B. English, Waco, Texas. The men seem to enjoy a casual conversation. They wear a coat and tie in this causal half length photograph. The conference voted to increase the assessment for support of retired ministers and a raise in the salary for the pastors. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 9, 1940.
