Tarrant County's citizens marched to the polls to join 50,000,000 other Americans in expressing a choice for President and Vice President and State, district and county officials. Throughout the county, scenes like these were common place. Shown here in the picture voting in the Tarrant County polls are Mr. and Mrs. R. Weldon Reed, they scratch two ballots at the Precinct 86 firehall. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 5, 1940.
