Description

The cast of "Bread", the sophomore entry in the freshman sophomore play contest at Texas Christian University (T.C.U), won the decision over the freshmen production of "Only the Birds." Girls in the winning play are, left to right, Miss Peggy Greene, Vernon, Texas; Mary Charlotte Faris, Fort Worth, Texas; Janis Warren, Quanah, Texas and Sara Ann Cabbell, Fort Worth, Texas. The men are David McKee, Fort Worth, Texas, left, who won the top honors among male contestants, and Homer Baughman, Fort Worth, Texas. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 5, 1940.
