Description
Texas Christian University (TCU) vs. Baylor University football game. Baylor back Milton Crain sails over a group of players. A pile of players from both teams is in the middle of the picture while Crain can be seen holding the ball and diving over the pile. All of the players pictured are wearing their uniforms with jerseys over shoulder pads, padded pants, and cleats. Clarence Alexander and Frank Kring, the Texas Christian University players who prevented Crain from going any further, are somewhere in the pile. A crowd of spectators fills the stands in the background. Star-Telegram Morning, November 3 1940.
