Golf, cocktail party and dancing were mixed with business during the annual convention of the Texas Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association convention. Charles P. McGaha, Wichita Falls, who recently was elected president of the National Stripper Well Association, was snapped preparing to run down a long putt on the ninth green at Colonial Golf Club. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition November 03, 1940.
