Alvarado High School drum majors in their new uniforms of white satin and gold braid bought for them by the Alvarado Lions Club. Left to right, they are Miss Doris Graham, Miss Sunshine Moreland and Miss Kay Freeman. They are shown standing against a bare wall and each one is holding a baton. The girls wore their new uniforms for the first time When Alvarado defeated Venus High School, 13-12. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 30, 1940.
