Description
Dr. Jagoda, Samuel's group of interesting knives. The big scythe-looking knife was used by the Spaniards in hand-to-hand combat. Between the blades of the big knife are (1) a tiny knife that fits into a scabbard with a larger one and was used for eating purposes; (2) dagger with deer-foot handle; (3) jagged blade knife which makes wounds more difficult to heal; (4) a knife with a wavy blade, and (5) a gun-knife with barrel on each side of the blade. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 24, 1940.
