    Description

An early Saturday morning fire broke out at the Tarrant County Courthouse. The damage was confined to the Seventeenth District Court office and the Court Reporters office. Court Reporters Frank Nuss and Kerr Sanders lost a $300 Photostat machine and the Dictaphone equipment was damaged. Pictured is the charred remains of the desk belonging to Special Judge Conner, where the fire was believed to have started. Law books and a telephone sit atop the singed desk. There is a radiator off to the side.
