Owners of the Jinkins and Jinkins Ranch staged their first auction sale of Herefords at their ranch in Madison County, Texas, on November 18, 1940. A white-faced Hereford to be sold is Super Anxiety J 1st, shown here. The Hereford is wearing a halter and there is a man holding the lead at the far right. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 16, 1940.
