College Station was jammed with supporters of Texas Christian University (TCU) and Texas Agricultural and Mechanical (A&M) college, spectators. Left to right, Mrs. John A Ward Junior, Sonora, Texas; Mrs. Steve Stromberg, Sanderson, Texas; Mrs. Earl Wilson, Del Rio, Texas; Mrs. Price Madden, Sweetwater, Texas; Mrs. L. J. Wardlaw, Fort Worth, Texas. The women are all wearing dresses, jackets with large bows attached to them, and everyone except Mrs. Stromberg is wearing hats.
