Description

Albert McLeland (extreme left) is director of industrial arts of the Fort Worth Public schools. He is father and father-in-law of the three men registering under the Selective Service Act and discuss how it was during his time as a registrant of 1918. Seated on the table, registration participants (left to right) Don McLeland, Byron B. Williams and Roger McLeland. Albert McLeland has an oldest son, Howard McLeland, who registered in Lubbock. All four men here are wearing suits. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 17, 1940.
