    Golfers from all over the United States are at the Colonial Country Club, hoping to qualify for the Texas Women's Open Tournament. Among those competing are left to right Marion Hollins and Mrs. Babe Zaharias. Miss Hollins, of Santa Cruz, California, is a former National Champion. In addition to being a professional golfer, she is well known for developing courses. She is wearing a collared blouse. Mrs. Babe Zaharias is the former Babe Didrikson of Port Arthur, Texas. She is a professional golfer and a former Olympic Athlete. In 1932 she won two gold medals in Track and Field. She is dressed in a hat, striped button-up blouse, and a skirt. Mrs. Zaharias went on to win the 1940 Tournament. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition October 14, 1940.
