Description
Texas Christian University vs. University of Arkansas football game. Gus Bierman, Texas Christian University halfback is racing to catch the football thrown by Dean Bagley, number 38. Bierman is near the far sideline and ten yards away from the end zone he is running towards while University of Arkansas defender Neal, number 25, runs beside Bierman, guarding him. Most of the players on the field are visible in this shot along with two referees; everyone is wearing their respective uniforms. Bagley is standing at the far-right center of the picture having just thrown the football, which can be seen flying through the air. Star-Telegram Morning, October 6 1940.
