Description
The Fort Worth Kennel Club holds a dog show at the Pioneer Palace, October 16-17, 1940. The Afghan Hound is one of the oldest dob breeds but is a newcomer to American shows. Three Afghan Hounds that belong to the Kandahar Kennels of Miss Amelia White, of Santa Fe, New Mexico are shown here standing next to each other. They are being handled at the show by Alex Scott. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 16, 1940.
