Description
The Fort Worth Kennel Club holds a dog show at the Pioneer Palace, October 16-17, 1940. At the dog show, the Dalmatian is perhaps the most celebrated dog. Shown here are "Champion Four-in-Hand," left, and his kennel mate, "Four-in-Hand Blackberry", belonging to Leo Meeker, of El Monte, California. The dogs are posed and sitting side by side. There is a person holding the dogs' leashes (left) but they are partially out of frame. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 16, 1940.
