Description
The Junior League Theater Group is taking plays to Fort Worth elementary schools for their eighth annual season. Eugene Woodfin directed the production of Hansel and Gretel. Making additions to the gingerbread house left to right are, Mrs. Robert P. Woltz, Miss Mary McDermott and Mrs. George Kemble. The women are adding doughnuts, cookies, and gumdrops to the design. Mrs. Woltz is painting the door. She is wearing a striped blouse, trousers, and suspenders. Miss McDermott is holding a doughnut out the window. She is dressed in a blouse. Mrs. Kemble is standing on a ladder and holding a hammer. She is wearing a blouse and a pleated skirt. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 27, 1940.
