Description
The Junior League Theater Group is taking plays to Fort Worth elementary schools for their eighth annual season. Eugene Woodfin directed the production of Hansel and Gretel. In the candy cane cage is "Hansel" played by Mrs. G. R. Thomas. Miss Mary Ellen Lilly, "Gretel", is standing outside the house. Peaking through the window of the ginger bread house is Mrs. Tom Prettyman dressed as a witch. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 27, 1940.
