Description
The North Central District Fair and Rodeo is holding their annual sponsor contest. Margie Parrott is competing with her horse, "Dunny." The pals made for a winning competition and took home the $135 first prize saddle. Miss Parrott is shown with her left foot in the stirrup as she climbs on Dunny. They are in an open field, preparing for a ride. Her hair is pulled back in a French braid. She is dressed in a cowboy hat, button-up blouse, trousers, cowboy boots and spurs. Miss Parrott is the daughter of Mrs. Bob Mason, owner of the Parrott Ranch in Throckmorton County, Texas.
