Fresh of the printing press is the first copy of the Methodist Church discipline. Inspecting the book are Bishop Charles L. Mead, seated, and Reverend J. N. R. Score. Bishop Mead is retired in Kansas City, Missouri. He is wearing a three piece suit. Reverend Score is pastor of First Methodist Church of Fort Worth. He is wearing a dark colored suit. The desk is covered with papers, books, and business cards. A telephone is sitting on a table behind the men. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 2, 1940.
