Oil operators Tom B. Owens, left, Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Hallie Collins of Bowie, Texas and Larry Hults. They opened a new deep lime oil pool six and a half miles northwest of the town in Southwest Montague County, the closest deep production to Bowie.
