Description

Image shows a wrecked automobile of Rex Blackburn, who with his wife, Mrs. Blackburn, was en route to Fort Worth, Texas, from their home in Lubbock, Texas. A group of people are standing around the car, examining the damage. The Blackburn car collided with that of Richard A. Healy, who was driving with his fiancé, Miss Oma Dell Bradley, on the Northwest Highway near Roberts Cutoff. Miss Bradley, 22, was killed in the accident. A unidentified man is shown on left examining the wrecked vehicle. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition September 21, 1940.
