Copies of certificates awarded to the Paris News and the Memphis Democrat. The certificate was presented to the Paris News for winning first place in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Agriculture Contest conducted under the auspices of the Texas Press Association. The award was given based on the quality of material published and the benefits derived from it. The award was presented on June 21, 1947.
