    Mrs. A. P. Johnson is posing with her two German Boxers, "Gretchen" and "Hilda von Bergfeld". The puppies are five-months old. They were bred from the kennels of John C. Hunter in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Johnson, her husband, Mr. A. P. Johnson, and their dogs are currently living in Fort Worth, Texas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Griffith. Mrs. Johnson is shown kneeling in the backyard, wearing a button-up dress. Background has vines and trellis. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 28, 1946.
