Betty Claire Schmid, senior's new staff member and reporter, is pictured here. She is shown standing against a bare wall, facing front and posing for the camera. She is wearing a dark color dress and a pearl necklace. She is a native of Fort Worth and graduated from State last year. She spent the summer of '42 as an apprentice at the Cape May Theater, Cape May, New Jersey, and the summer of '43 at the University of Mexico, Mexico City. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, June 1945.
